Paris

eiffelI’m sorry I became a little tardy with getting this part of the blog out. But all the wonders of Paris, that I just had to see, kept me busy every minute and it was hard to write the blog.  But I hope you got the picture updates on Facebook!

So I have to say Paris was everything I hoped for.  It is the most beautiful city I have ever been to.  The buildings are magnificent! Every direction you turn, you can see the pride that the Parisians have for there city known as the “City of Lights”.  At night it becomes magical. With it’s lit bridges that line the Seine River. The street lights twinkle while lovers walk beneath them. Notre Dame standing so boldly and the Eiffel Tower bigger than you could ever imagine! All the light soaring to the sky.

Paris by Night

Place after place, even in the day where I visited  was never to disappoint.
Notre Dame is Magnificent (on the outside)
Clixten Chapel Breathtaking.
Arch de Triumph is Massive
The Luv goes for blocks
The Eiffel Tower Bigger than Life and full of surprises!
Versailles Beautiful and worth going.
Paris by Day
So, yes I am a Foodie and half of this trip was about the food. During our adventure visited 5 Michelin Star rated restaurants and 3 of which were 3 Stars. Which is the highest rating you can achieve. The first restaurant was just full of fluff and gander with mediocre to bad food. The second that was in Chagny France named Lameloise. They made us feel uncomfortable, they had no menu in English and the staff barely spoke English or German or at least didn’t want to. The Food was mediocre. But Epicure was like no other dining experience I have ever encountered. This place is unsurpassed! It was nothing but a culinary delight. The service was incredible. There was 3 attendants for each table. Our waiter Narcis made our night perfect. I’m not sure how Michlin grades their restaurants and how you get a star. But I think they need to reassess. And make a 3 Star in the realm of Epicure. They deserve every Star.
Epicure Restaurant- Paris
The people of Paris were delightful. I was unsure of  how the people were going to be.  Over the years I had heard many different things. They made us feel welcome and were happy to be at our service. It was the perfect way to end our trip.
