Bora Bora

Bora-Bora was one of the things on my bucket list and thus far has exceeded my expectations.  The turquoise and sapphire blue water that surrounds the island is breathtaking and it stretches out to a reef miles  away where you can see breaking  waves on the horizon.

We only been here for a few days and you can feel the French Polynesian hospitality everywhere.  Usually when you hear the word “French”you don’t think of kind or friendly, but the French Polynesians have given it a whole new meaning.  The locals are so grateful you are here enabling their island to thrive.  Their culture has imported the beauty and the elements of their surroundings in their attire and in their cuisine.
We’ve just begun to find out about this beautiful place.  Our underwater excursion start today so I’m sure I will have much to post!  I’m looking forward to sharing it with you.

Having fun in the sun though it has rained quite a bit. Our next few days will be under the sea.  Yesterday a short beautiful dive and tomorrow swimming with Mana Rays and Sharks 🦈 Watch for the footage!
I was told by a friend that I need to be careful that the sharks like Italian food!

Our last days in Bora Bora where exciting and in-tantalizing. Diving with the local guides gave me such an appreciation for the love of the sea and the creatures of it.  There life depends on the understanding and love of what sustains there life.
Being able to share these videos proves that point!
The people of French Polynesia hold onto their original heritage and the worship of the different blessings of the gods given to them. Prosperity and life and in the afterlife.
The love and understanding of the French Polynesian people is something that everyone should inspire to experience. There is nothing like it!
